The Society’s AGM took place in the morning and the Chairman, Jaco Scholtz, gave an overview of the activities of the Society over the past year before the Treasurer, Gerrit Lok, presented a review of the Society finances. This was followed by feedback to the members who attended the technical presentations and the chair was then handed over to Jayson Jacobs.  Thereafter Alan Johns from ALS Group gave a presentation entitled “Practical considerations for bias testing for coal sampling plants”. This was followed by Craig Bamber from Malvern Engineering who gave a presentation on “Cross Belt Sampler Technology”. The refreshments after the presentations were sponsored by Malvern Engineering.
